  1. Exshaw Mountain Day

    September 27, 2020, 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM @ Windridge Park

    Annual community hike/scramble up Exshaw Mountain. Register before you start and when you return with Ruthie at the Windridge Playground. Suitable for families with may points to chose to continue or turn back on this route marked by cairns (not a formal trail). Hike prepared with shoes, clothing, food and water - the weather is changeable. Free post-hike Community Association BBQ hosted by Jessie, Robin and family at the Community Centre lawn 3:30 - 5:30 pm

  2. Cross Training - Outside!!

    September 28, 2020, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Jeffries/Centre Park - Outdoor Rink

    Pete Cooper will be running his great Cross Training classes in the outdoor rink for 4 weeks. Thursdays are the alternate day if a Monday class can't run due to weather. NO Drop-Ins due to COVID19 measures - minimum 8 registrations to proceed.

The Orange Shirt Society was formed in Williams Lake by the founders of Orange Shirt Day to encourage and support communities to recognize Orange Shirt Day and to support reconciliation events and activities. Our goal is to create awareness of the individual, family and community inter-generational impacts of Indian Residential Schools through Orange Shirt Day activities, and to promote the concept of "Every Child Matters".
