How do I purchase a Good Food Box?

The Good Food Box (GFB) is a program under the Community Kitchen Program of Calgary where you can purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at a very low cost.

The GFB operates by buying fresh top quality produce directly from farmers and from wholesale clubs. The food is bought in bulk and dropped off at their Calgary warehouse. Volunteers divide the produce into portions and put the "Good Food Boxes" together. Boxes contain the maximum produce possible in them for the price. Each monthly box contains the same mixture of staple produce, though some of the contents will change seasonally.
