Formed pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, the Municipal Planning Commission (MPC) considers and makes decisions on development permit applications, acts as the municipality’s subdivision approving authority, and provides advice to Council on planning and development related matters. Due to the semi-judicial nature of the subject matters and possible litigious action that may fall out of decisions from certain bodies, the unadopted minutes for the Municipal Planning Commission shall not be posted on the web-site.
