The Municipal Excellence Committee (MEC) reviews and considers changes to staff remuneration policies, recognising market conditions, changing work expectations, productivity merit and inflationary factors; and further recognises, in appropriate fashion, outstanding contributions from staff, board/committee/ commission members and volunteers.
