Post and Learn about Community Events on the MD website Community Events Calendar.
Community Groups and individuals are now able to submit events with a photo or .jpeg attachment for staff review and approval for publication.
To submit an event, go to mdbighorn.ca. On the home page click on the Events tab to the right of the Calendar, then click View All. Click Submit an Event, select the Events Calendar at the top of the pop-up event submission box, fill out the required boxes and any optional ones you want to use. (We can also assign it to more area categories when we review the submitted event). Once the event is submitted, reviewed and published, notice will go to anyone who subscribes to those categories and it will be displayed on the Events Calendar.
It’s a really good idea for residents to subscribe under the Notify Me button on the right side of the MD website home page – so you automatically get information emailed to you on the topics you are interested in.
