Temporary Use of Roads Permit

A Temporary Use of Roads Permit is required for the temporary use or occupation of developed and undeveloped municipal road allowances and right-of-ways for private purposes.

Examples where a Temporary Use of Roads Permit is required include storing materials, equipment and facilities for construction projects, seeding/sodding boulevards, installing water, wastewater or stormwater service connections, installing private utilities, removing road encroachments, and crossing sidewalks or trails with construction equipment etc. within the municipal road-right-of-way.
