Municipal Emergency Plan

Plan Adoption

At the Regular Council Meeting in January 2015, Municipal District Council adopted a New Municipal Emergency Plan.  The plan is reviewed and updated annually, this latest update was accepted by Council on June 12, 2018.

Alberta municipalities are required to prepare a Municipal Emergency Plan (MEP), to be used in disaster situations, such as flooding, forest fires, explosions, etc.
