Rotary Club of Canmore

COVID-19 We’re in this together

Banff-Canmore Community Foundation, Banff & Canmore Rotary Clubs, Banff Legion and the Wim & Nancy Pauw Foundation are all working together to fundraise and help address local area COVID-19 needs through a one-stop application process  https://www.banffcanmorecf.org/in-this-together/
Key priorities are programs or projects that focus on keeping Bow Valley residents fed, sheltered, safe and connected, especially vulnerable residents.
Eligible initiatives:
– Must be charitable in nature;
– Must be for the benefit of the Bow Valley community;
– Must provide direct response and support to those affected by COVID-19, particularly those who are most vulnerable and those who may be facing social isolation;
– Must use the grant awarded to provide for expenses incurred or planned in the Bow Valley region.

Community Organizations

The Rotary Club of Canmore has a semi-annual budget of funds available for Community organizations. Requests can range from $100 to $5000 and are specifically for organizations west of the Banff Park gates east to Exshaw. The spring funding deadline is March 31 with committee reviews and disbursements, for successful applicants, by May 1.

If you should miss the spring deadline, fall submissions will be accepted up to October 15 reviewed and disbursed by December 1. There are guidelines for proposals. To learn more, any interested organizations should contact Donna Potter.
