Agriculture & Environment
Overview
The Agriculture, Environment & Parks Department is responsible for administering the Weed Control Act, Agricultural Pests Act, Agricultural Service Board Act and Soil Conservation Act. Invasive weeds and pest management on private property are the responsibility of the property owner while MD staff carry out these services on municipal property.
