February 27, 2018, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM @ Exshaw School
Families with your children ages 0-12, Teens & Adults
Everyone is welcome to join this unstructured, ‘play in the gym’ time. Everyone plays together (not a drop-off program). Come and hang out and play whatever sport(s) you decide that week.
Bring clean indoor runners, enter and leave your boots and outdoor shoes at the north doors just above the gym. Fill out a waiver the 1st time you attend & sign in each week.
Participants are responsible for good sportsmanship, supervising their own children, for care of the school and equipment and for putting everything away neatly at the end of your play time. Doors will be relocked at 7:15 pm if no one has arrived & that week’s community gym time cancelled.
Check facebook.com/mdbighorn weekly around 4:00pm on Tuesdays
in case we have to cancel a gym night.
Thank you to the following for their support so this program is FREE!!

February 28, 2018, All Day
February 28 is Pink Shirt Day. Albertans are encouraged to wear pink to show support for building healthy, respectful relationships in our community and putting an end to bullying.
People are safer when we all take responsibility for bullying. Being proactive in preventing bullying means we accept shared responsibility for creating environments that are respectful and inclusive for all.
We ask you to help us share this information with your contacts to promote Pink Shirt Day.
Albertans are encouraged to share pictures, positive messages and inclusive initiatives on social media using #PinkShirtDay. By doing this, they join people around the world in sending a strong message: We stand together to promote healthy relationships and prevent bullying behaviours in our schools, workplaces and communities.
Albertans experiencing bullying are encouraged to phone the Bullying Helpline at 1-888-456-2323 or visit alberta.ca/bullying to chat online or find resources.
